

Started in 2008, Brightsound Entertainment has become a premier source for live music & entertainment in the southeastern United States. The mission is simple: bring innovative music & entertainment to the Southeast, a region that is regularly overlooked by many artists. All planning and logistics coordination, talent booking, marketing and promotions, and public relations are done in-house. The four founders of Brightsound came together approximately 3 years ago, and since then, they have worked on various projects throughout the U.S. with a large focus on targeting the college and young professional demo pools. Brightsound has a unique approach to event production in that they create a large majority of their venues from scratch (or raw land), like most traditional festivals. Additionally, a large majority of promotions for Brightsound events are done at the grass roots level placing a very strong emphasis on face-to-face marketing in street teams, rarely seen as often in today's environment for concert advertising.
Since inception, the team at Brightsound has worked diligently to build a recognizable brand. They have built a significant fan base in a short amount of time by allowing fans the opportunity to experience a consistent, high level of quality at each Brightsound event they attend. After gaining enough notoriety in their operating footprint and thus realizing the plateau they had hit, Brightsound recognized the need for immediate expansion. The idea they came up with to meet this need is called, ELECTRIC ISLAND, a private island music festival in the heart of the Caribbean.
